Information that was released at the time of COVID-19 Outbreak
Hello Mahaffey Families,
We hope everyone is doing well and making the best out of the situation regarding school delays and distancing while we work through COVID-19 across the nation.
I know many are concerned about the continued learning while away. Mahaffey staff has put together a document filled with many resources and activities students can do at home to continue practicing skills and maintain some school routine.
Please access http://bit.ly/MahaffeyDL to see the full list. Activities are available in both English and Spanish.
If you need assistance, please feel free to reach out to your students teacher via email or Dojo. Keep in mind, some may not be quick to respond or able to support from home pending their personal circumstances. You are always more than welcome to reach out to any administrator or our counselor during this time. The four of us are all willing and able to work from home during this time away from school.
Holly Mason, Principal [email protected]
Charla Wilson, Asst. Principal [email protected]
Jonathan Harvell, Asst. Principal [email protected]
Jennifer Matus, Counselor [email protected]
If there are any major needs your family is lacking, please be sure to reach out to us so we can help formulate a plan of support. For those needing meal assistance, please see the district support plan for curbside meal pick up on March 16th and 17th. The closest Mahaffey pick up location would be at Schultz Elementary. Please note ALL children under 18 qualify for these meals, regardless of regular school qualifications and be sure children are present to pick up meals.
Glad to be PLAID,
Holly Mason, Mahaffey Principal
